Landmark Installs Linux Hosting for Unocal Indonesia

Houston, Business Wire -- Landmark Graphics Corporation, a wholly owned business unit of Halliburton, announced today that it has successfully implemented a customized, Linux-based data and applications hosting system for Unocal's Deepwater Group in Jakarta, Indonesia. Landmark implemented the system in July 2003 and will provide management, maintenance and on-site application support over a three-year period.

The modular design and advanced networking enables any part of the system to grow independently of another thereby increasing the potential for cost savings, a critical consideration for Unocal.
