Dan sedari awal itu, Grab besar bersama --dan juga lahir di-- Amazon Web Services (AWS), layanan cloud milik raksasa ritel online Amazon. Mulai Oktober ini, kebersamaan Grab dan Amazon sepertinya mulai terusik. Microsoft, yang makin merajai pasar layanan cloud, pada 8 Oktober 2018 mengumumkan rencana investasinya ke Grab, dengan membawa serta layanan cloud miliknya sendiri: Azure.

  eNdonesia 8.7, versi terbaru software portal eNdonesia 8.x, akhirnya dirilis pada 27 September 2017. Suguhan utama script CMS versi terbaru ini adalah ia dibangun berbasis PHP 7.x, alias selaras dengan PHP versi paling mutakhir. Dan yang tak kalah penting, eNdonesia 8.7 didesain dengan template yang responsive, sehingga bisa dinikmati di layar pc, laptop, maupun di perangkat layar kecil semacam smartphone.

  Sejak Februari 2017, website script eNdonesia 8.x, yang sempat diniatkan berganti jadi iNdoplaces 8.x, akhirnya kembali ke khittah menjadi eNdonesia 8.x. Bisa begitu karena kebetulan domain www.endonesia.org yang dulu jadi rumah eNdonesia 8.x akhirnya available lagi. Maka, domain itu pun diakuisi lagi, dan kembali dipakai untuk menjadi alamat website eNdonesi 8.x.

  Sudah cukup lama sript CMS eNdonesia menggunakan alamat website www.indoplaces.org. Maklum, domain sebelumnya, www.endonesia.org , sempat berganti kepemilikan. Sekarang, untuk menyelaraskan dengan sang domain, alamat project di Sourceforge.net juga diganti menjadi www.sourceforge.net/project/indoplaces . Kelak, nama script juga bakal diubah. Tentunya menjadi indoPlaces.
